I have always made a homemade, leave in conditioner. Mix equal parts conditioner, vinegar and water in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray on mane and tail, brush and it stays silky and tangle free for a long time |

Me & my wife always use suncream on our horses nose in the summer time. It stops the nose from burning & blistering. I have seen any horses with pink noses with sunburn in the past. Sharon, My horse hates wormers, I tried everything and then I clean out a used worming syringe and fill it with applesauce. I gave her the wormer half filled every two weeks for a period of three months and now she loves to be wormed!. Anna To stop the mane was tangling together I use baby oil. You only need a tiny drop or it will go greasy. To much and the flies would start to go for the smell of it. It works wonders in the tail also. But only a SMALL AMOUNT IS NEEDED. |
